臨床上，中醫師會用活血散瘀調經的方法治療朱古力瘤，例如用川芎、赤芍、益母草、五靈脂，但都會根據病人體質和病情對症下藥。例如針對肝鬱氣滯，長期精神壓力大的患者，醫師會選用疏肝理氣的藥物例如柴胡、香附；針對腎虛的病人，醫師會用補腎的藥物例如仙茅、淫羊藿。
